POTTERS HOUSE CHURCH

We are a multicultural group of believers who love God, love His word, and want to share it with the world. We do this by loving people and serving others. Our mission is to help people get to know who God is and how He can help change their lives

OUR BELIEFS

STATEMENT'S OF FAITH

NUMBER 1:

THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD, AND THE ONLY SAVIOR FROM SIN

NUMBER 2:

THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE HEALER OF THE BODY THROUGH THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

NUMBER 3:

THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE BAPTIZER WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

NUMBER 4:

THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SOON COMING KING

NUMBER 5:

THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER

WE BELIEVE

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not of works (Ephesians 2:8).

We believe that no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born again (John 3:5-8) and that all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are declared righteous by God (Hebrew 10:19-25). All born again believers in Jesus Christ should be baptised (Mark 16:16).

Every born again believer needs to show evidence of salvation from sin by pursuing a Godly life and exhibiting fruit of a life being lived for Jesus Christ.

OUR PASTOR

AARON & MARIAM JAMES

Pastor Aaron’s journey began in 2005 when he gave his life to Jesus in the Potters House Rotherhithe Church at the age of 13 years old. He served in his local church as the youth leader for many years, met his wife and got married at 19 years of age, was asked to serve on the church council and was given to evangelism both nationally and across Europe, supporting our sister fellowship churches.

His passion for seeing souls saved during this time led to him becoming a pastor in the 2016 Bible Conference with his wife and young family, where he pioneered a work in Hackney.

The following year, the need arose for him to take over the Eltham church congregation, where he continued his ethos of loving God, loving people and serving others. These foundational pillars have kept him in God’s calling and faithful to see our local church being built.
